  • Sarah Bartlett

    Director of FaithLife Ministry
    I help our partners get connected in FaithLife groups. I also recruit and equip new FaithLife group leaders, as well as provide encouragement and training to current leaders. As a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, I help our partners understand the strength talents with which God has blessed them, and how they can use their strengths at home, at work, in their community, and as they volunteer at St. Mark's.

    Receptionist
    As receptionist, I not only greet people and answer telephones, but also perform administrative tasks within several of our ministries. I also help with special projects and church events. I am always open to volunteers to help at the front desk in my absence, so give me a call!

  • Samantha Crumpton

    Early Childhood Ministry Coordinator
    I am responsible for planning, administering, coordinating, supervising, and evaluating a comprehensive Early Childhood Ministry, ages birth through 1st grade. This entails coordinating large and small group activities, Family Fun Nights, and outreach events. Additionally, I provide leadership for Sunday School and for VBS in the summer. Creating and maintaining relationships with the children and families who are a part of early childhood ministry is also a big part of the role!

    Production Coordinator
    I make sure everything we make at St. Mark's looks and sounds awesome. I produce videos and oversee the production aspects of Sunday services. If you're interested in filming videos, our live stream ministry, sound, or lights, let me know!

    My job is to tell you what you need to know about what’s going on at St. Mark’s! I support staff in their ministry needs by getting the word out. Every day is different - which I love! You can connect with St. Mark’s on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube … but we aren’t on TikTok (yet!)

    As a Pastoral Intern, I am spending time learning the various roles of a pastor. This past year the focus has been on worship - liturgy, communion, and delivering sermons. I am also assisting with hospitality at St. Mark’s. If you are a person who likes people, this is a great way to serve!

    I assist the Financial Manager Cheri! I record the weekly offering and help to track the monthly giving for the EVERY.ONE. Capital Appeal. Additionally, I help with special giving projects like the Lenten Project.

    My favorite part of the job is actually getting to hang out with students! I assist in shepherding 5th-8th graders and volunteers, manage curriculum, lead games, oversee our Hype Team, give hugs/high-fives, and so much more! Curious on what that looks like?     Chancel Choir Director
    I lead the choir for Sunday traditional services and special services for Christmas, Lent and Easter. The Chancel Choir invites all adult singers as well as students in grades 9-12 to join together in Christian fellowship each week as we rehearse Wednesday nights at 7:30 pm. On Sundays we "Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all His wonderful acts." (Psalm 105:2)

    Pastoral Intern

    As Senior Pastor Support, my role is "other duties as assigned". I fill in as needed, providing guidance, teaching, and administrative support. I often teach and I sometimes preach! I support the traditional service with liturgists assigned each Sunday morning and in the new Confirmation curriculum after the modern service. During the week, I teach/facilitate the Crossways Bible study and work with several men's groups to do various tasks both inside and outside the church and out in the community.

    I oversee the care ministries of St. Mark’s for all ages, life stages, and needs. I have a heart for connecting with people and to come alongside them in seasons of both need and celebration. Previously I was on the Family Ministry team and I love to partner with parents to disciple their children on their faith journey. It is a joy to also serve as a Pastoral Intern!

    Finance Manager
    If it has to do with money - I’m on it! I perform general accounting duties of the church including: contribution and pledge analysis & data entry, expense disbursements, general ledger, monitor our cash flow, and payroll. Additionally, I manage monthly and quarterly reports including specific budgeting and expenses. I also help to maintain other detailed, confidential, and official records of the church.

    Stewardship Director
    As Stewardship Director, my biggest assignment is organizing the current capital campaign. With a focus on spiritual development and growing givers' hearts through a strengthened relationship with Christ, I'm giddy with excitement at what God has in store for St. Mark's!

    Coordinator of Traditional Worship
    I have the pleasure of working alongside the worship staff and Pastors in the planning and carrying out of all of St. Mark’s traditional services. During the week you’ll often find me in Faith Worship Center, sometimes rehearsing with the Chancel Choir as well as other soloists and instrumentalists, but even more frequently enjoying practicing on the bench of our Skinner organ or Steinway piano. If you have musical talent that you would like to share in worship, I’m always looking for ways to involve more folks in our music ministry, so please do let me know!

    I oversee the operations of the church including working with the Finance department, human resources, facilities, and much more. Part of my role is to solve problems and remove obstacles for our Directors so they can do their jobs most effectively. I love working to find the best way to put a vision into action!     I am so humbled and blessed to have the opportunity to work at St. Mark's with the high school students. I’m huge on building friendships, fun memories, and encouraging others in their walk with Jesus. Growing up, my family adopted six of my siblings - influencing me to be there for others. A big part of my childhood was using joy to help my siblings get through some of their most traumatic memories. Adoption also influenced some of my favorite ventures like community, deep conversations, spontaneous activities, sports, music, laughter, and so much more.

Part-Time Finance Manager

The Finance Manager oversees all aspects of the church finances and serves as the primary resource for the staff, lay leaders, and congregation as it relates to the church’s financial condition. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations, affirm/establish sound financial processes and principles, and support strategic initiatives and growth.

Part-Time Evening Custodian

The Custodian supports the ministry of St. Mark’s by ensuring all publicly accessible areas of the church are clean and ready for the staff and congregation to use. The custodian should understand proper cleaning methods or being willing to learn and may perform minor repairs. The evening custodian will secure the building at the end of the evening.
