The Chosen is an incredible, multi-season TV show about the life of Jesus, as told through the eyes of those who met him during his earthly ministry. We’re so excited to be offering it as a church-wide FaithLife group study!

We will begin meeting weekly on Sunday, April 7. We will meet from 3:00-5:00 pm, in the Life Worship Center to watch an episode of season 4 of The Chosen on the big screen. After each episode, we will break into small groups for discussion.

UPDATE AS OF 3/21/2024: The livestream via The Chosen app has been delayed due to an issue between The Chosen and Angel Studios, the distributor. The good news: we were able to sign up for a special license to show The Chosen, Season 4 episodes to small and large groups at church so we will be able to start on April 7 as planned. The not-so-good news: we are not able to livestream it to folks online per the license restrictions, so this season is going to have to be in person only. We are so sorry about that. 

For those of you who are local and have watched online in the past, we hope you'll be able to come to St. Mark's and join us in person. Since it's now spring, it doesn't get dark until well after our 5:00 pm end time, so we hope that makes a difference. If you need a ride, please email Sarah and we'll do our best to find someone to give you a lift to St. Mark's and back home again. For those of you who live outside of the area, we are so sorry that live streaming is not an option at this time.

The format will be the same as years past…a little cultural and historical background teaching, watch the episode, then break into groups for discussion. 

Come with your family, your FaithLife group, or a group of friends. If you aren’t in a FaithLife group, this will be the perfect opportunity to join one. Child care will be available.
