a new faith formation class for ages 16-30

We are excited to launch "What We Believe": a new faith formation class for ages 16-30. Our desire is to partner with families and the congregation in equipping participants with a solid Lutheran foundation to encourage lifelong faith by:
Presenting the core of the Christian faith through study of scripture and Luther’s Small Catechism
Using and applying these texts to every day situations
Promoting the development of faith practices
Strengthening participant engagement at St. Mark's by facilitating relationship-building with other partners through both small group and large group experiences
What We Believe will meet for 7 weeks on Sundays from 11:15 am -12:45 pm beginning March 17. (Class will not meet on Easter Sunday, March 31). This faith formation class is designed for young adults who never went through a Confirmation class growing up or would like a refresher on what was covered. We'll watch a video, have small group discussion, and learn how to apply what we learned to real life.
