What They Do.
Mark and Maki are happy to partner with you as they labor to spread the good news of Christ in Japan! They have been missionaries in Japan for many years, but are eager to begin a new chapter in their calling to help equip more Japanese to be disciples and laborers for Christ to their own people.
It has been on Mark’s heart for a long time now to move towards more personal discipleship as well as more pastoral leadership in order to help more people. Mark received his Masters of Divinity of Theology degree in December 2022. He is now a pastor. His children will begin school at the school where he teaches, KIU, in April of 2023. His children are: Noah 15 , Taka is 14 and Mia is 9. His wife, Maki ,is working in skin care with clients.
Mark grew up here at St. Mark’s. His parents are Gene and Val Wolter.
